    Right, downloaded WMP 10 today.

Why did they change the appearance while providing no (clear) way of using
WMP 9's look? To me it looks like a poor attempt to emulate Mac OSX's look,
    and it burns, it burns.

Is there any way to change the appearance of WMP 10 so that it's very close,
if not identical, to WMP 9's normal appearance? Y'know, how the windows and
tabs are arranged, the bg colours used etc.

  2. No, you can should check out wmplugins.com to see if there are any skins
that interest you. A single interface can not be made that everyone likes.

True, but it couldn't have been too hard to provide the option.

    Thanks anyway.

Agreed...or at least a way to roll the media player back to WMP9.

Disagreed with both points here. On the other hand, the installer does
offer two different ways to roll the media player back to WMP9, so I'd think
that base is already covered. =) It wasn't trivial work, but it is there.
