I have the same problem - states to make sure the firewall accepts the
Napster program - it already is an excpetion on the PC-Cillin firewall I have
    - - funny I have the same problem with WMP 10 on my other computer. It WAS
    working until today.

I checked with Napster about this problem accessing my Napster store through
MP 11 (blocked on both my computers as of 2/11/07). They suggested: 1) delete
and reinstall the Napster plug-in for WMP 11 (didn't help); 2) check the MS
boards for a solution (none so far); 3) use the Napster software which is
more stable (though it is not as functional as the WMP player). They also
suggested this is a new ploy by MS to monopolize downloads through URGE.

That last comment is unfounded (and borderline boneheaded). I designed the
arbitrary agnostic plug-in install system which knows nothing about what's
being installed. They just plug in to the WMP system and it all works. WMP
doesn't know nor judge anything about the service.

If Napster somehow broke their install, they need to go through official
channels and get help. This isn't rocket science.

Any comments to the effect that the install system favors one service over
the other is either wrong or a lie, your choice. I wrote the code. If you
don't trust me, feel free to debug right on through it - it's really
straight-forward code and will back up what I'm saying.
