I know the minimum requirements for vpc are listed on the info page,
however, I would like to know what would be a good specification for a
desktop pc running xp pro as a platform to host vpc images.

My current system is a p4, single hyperthreading cpu, 2.8 ghz system with
1.2 gigs of ram and 60 gig hard drive running xp pro sp2

Is this a good platform to host vpc? What do you use currently for a host
    system? Any recommendations?

    Thanks.

Test bed for applications constucted with VB6, Dot Net and Java.
Applications can be business apps, smart clients and thin clients.

How many VMs do you plan on running? If you're planning on making
your PC a server to run multiple VMs, you should look at Virtual
    Server instead.
