My Outgoing mail indicates mail is still to be sent but the folder is empty
together with the message that the folder cannot be displayed because there
is not enough memory. I have no other application running so there must be
sufficient memory. Can some help ?

    Hi Richard,

It just means that you have a stuck undeletable message in your Outbox.
Read the top portion at this link and do the "Stuck Outbox" section for
Steve Cochran's WMUtil. It will remove it for you.
