    I have completed a vanilla SBS 2003 install plus Outlook on both win 2k plus
    XP workstations. The problem I am having is that none of the Outlook clients
    can use the contacts in their contact folder to validate addresses with. When
    we create a new mail and click on the "TO..:" button - the only drop down
    lists available to show names from are the:
    Global Address List
    All Address Lists

    They do not have access to the Outlook Address Contact list.

    Any help please?

  2. click on Properties for your Contact folder, click on the Outlook Address
    Book tab, and make sure that 'Show this folder as an email address book' is
    ENABLED.

  3. The first step in solving this would be to go to Outlook Tools/ E-Mail
    Accounts, View or change existing directories -> Next. Make sure the
    Outlook Address Book is listed, and if not, add it. To add the OAB, click
    Add -> Additional Address Books.

    If the OAB is already installed or if that doesn't fix it, the next step
    would be to r-click the user's Contacts folder in the Outlook Folder List
    and click Properties. On the Outlook Address Book tab, make sure the box is
    checked to use the Contacts folder as an e-mail address book.
