I am trying to transfer information from personal folders stored on local
workstation to exchange mailbox. One problem I keep getting is how to move
the calendar and contacts from personal to exchange. I tried to copy, but it
always creates a separate item, but won't replace the existing
calendar/contact on the exchange mailbox so I end up with calendar and
calendar 1, same with contacts. I tried importing, but it doesn't import.
I'm sure it is something simple that I am doing or not doing, but I can't
    figure it out. Thanks

Copy the items and not the container. Highlight the first one, go to the end
and click on the last one while holding down the shift key. Then rightclick
and drag them over to the Exchange container. Select copy or move and you
    are done.

  3. Are you talking a .pst file? It contains mail, calendar, contacts

If you can't seem to do it from within Outlook, you can always try Exmerge

Thanks, that worked for contacts. I couldn't get it to work for the calendar
though. Is there a trick to copying a calendar?

I figured it out, you have to change the view to column format, then select
all cut and paste. Thanks again.
