I tried to load Microsoft Paint, but it wouldn't open. It would only open
after I log off my account.

Which CD drive letter and label for the drive in Explorer would you recommend?

Never mind my previous post. I tried that, but nothing happened. What can I
    do now to restore Paint?

Try a System Restore.Select any date or, a restore point when everthing
    was just fine.

I checked through the dates, but there was nothing but "System Checkpoints",
therefore no System Restore can be used. Now what?

  7. Why do you think you can't restore to a system checkpoint?

    It works for me...

Because the computer thinks no changes were made to my computer, therefore
System Restore could not revert to any date.

  9. OK, got it. Have you tried the earlier checkpoints too?

It does sound kind of bad for you, sorry.

But don't worry, because I'm right now contacting my personal administrator
to come and fix this problem for me. I also made sure there was no spyware
