Ok, I just tried it again and I wrote down what the
message says: the Authenticode Signature not found. I
still hit yes to run it anyway but it ignores me and
takes me to the same page for me to click update now.

    We need more info:

What operating system are you running?
What is the exact error message when accessing Windows Update?
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------
After receiving the error on Windows Update site, check to see if any errors
    are being reported.

Let's view the Windows Update log file

Copy and paste "%windir%\windows update.log" (w/o the quotes)
into the Internet Explorer address bar and hit Enter.

Scroll down to the current date and look for the error being reported.
Next, Look for the error message in the Windows Update Troubleshooter:
    http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/troubleshoot/

Please try the suggestions listed. Let us know if error persists.
