I installed Vista beta the other day I am now trying to resolve the issue of
my computer bluescreen crashing do to a driver conflict. My device manager
    shows this
    PCI Simple Communications Controller

    Other devices
    Unknown
    PCI bus 1, device 0, function 0
    Physical Device name
    \Device\NTPNP_PCI0013
It is located in the pci bridge so is it a part of mother board or what?
I cant install drivers and hard to update or find when uyou dont know what
    it is!
    Please help!

well I would agree except that i use hi speed broadband through a cable modem
which is working fine with this device disabled so I am not sure that that is
it. I am also connected through a router that has working driversany other
    suggestions?

Is there a modem in the machine? You wouldn't need it for broadband, but it
    would show up like this.
