Greetings everyone. I am a new member and have to tell all that this site is a answer to my prayers. I don't care much for Vista and especially the way Microsoft wants to run my PC and the spanking you get if you don't behave yourself. My PC is a Compaq C5107 refurbished PC and came with Vista Home premium.
I have a continuing permission issues. I constantly get "you don't have permission". This happens when opening or trying to use a program. I have tried changing permission status and have reinstalled my vista 3 times. It is a refurbished Compaq C5107. I am thinking the administrators who first had oversight by the company who first owned them did not clean everything out. Despite it saying it was installed to factory condition, it continues giving "you do not have permission to access the "whatever". I would be grateful for any assistance. Thanks in advance and may your holidays be filled with joy. Cheers, Paul in Portland, ORE..
