I have just set up a broadband dialup on a new Vista PC. There are now three
dial-ups on the machine, but none of them will remember the password and all
users option. I did eventually get one of the connectoids to remember the
    password and this user.
Vista was giving an error 624, Cannot update phonebook.
There are two users, at least one is an administrator.
The only knowledge base article I found related to XP, and was aimed
primarily at being unable to create the phonebook.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks
    Dave

I to have this fault and no amount of effort to date will allow any modification of the RAS files or setting up of a new dialup service. I think the RAS may have become corrupt some time back while erroniously trying to install some Vodafone dial up service designed for W/XP. Vodafone now always tries to load in dialup even though it was denistalled. Current OS is Vista 32 basic SP-2.
Would love to get this sorted so that I can use my 3G cellphine as a broadband modem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
