    Hi,

Just bought a new laptop and wondered if there any particular
pitfalls/common mistakes to look out for when starting a Vista machine
for first time. I have only used XP until now.
    many thanks

Make sure it is in PARK
Do not try to choke it or it will flood.
Also don't pump the accelerator or it will start too quickly and the
processor will jump out of its socket
As soon as it is running grip the mouse firmly in both hands and click
    Shutdown.
Insert your Windows XP DVD....restart and install
