    Hi,

Recently, I have download a avi file from internet. But
it cannot be played because of not support in audio codec
format tag 2001. Does anyone know how to download audio
    codec solving the problem ?

    Thanks.

    Best regards.

find and download gspot iT will tell you the needed codec
and some times where to get them or just search the net.
you will find them there. Cindy

I think you've been had. Talk to the content provider if you can, but I
think "2001" is one of those bogus codec registrations anti-piracy groups
are putting out there to deliberately hork people who try to pirate content.

In either case (pirated or non-pirated), you'd want to talk to the content
provider and see how the heck you're supposed to play this weird file. :\
