How do I make playlist changes (new ones and changes to existing) appear on
the XBox 360 Media Extender right away? I know the changes eventually appear
on the XBox (well usually) but I assume there is a way to "copy" or force the
changes to appear on the Extender from the Vista Media Center PC as there was
with Media Center 2005 on XP. The posts I have seen on this refer to the XP
    directory structure not Vista's. Thanks

  2. Storing your playlists in the public music folder (instead of the music
folder of your desktop user) may do the trick.

My music is currently stored on an external firewire drive. My playlists
appear to be stored there as well. How can I change the location of my
    playlists?

  4. Are you creating the playlists in Windows Media Player? If so, when you
save the playlist navigate to the users/public directory and save the files
    in the music folder.
