After installing SP1, the boot process is delayed after the loading ba
and before the Vista Logo... The screen just turns black for about 30-4
seconds which is kind of annoying..... here are my spec

    Intel 5000X Chipse
    Intel Xeon 5130 (Dual Core
    Nvidia Quadro NVS 285 (x2
Windows Vista Home Premium 64 Bi
    4 GB DDR2 FBDIM

Someone please help... I've been searching for hours but cannot find
    resolution

  2. Mine does that a bit too, although maybe for only 10 seconds. I think it
may be the video driver initializing (the bouncing bar stuff is done
using a generic driver and video mode.)

Before SP1, after the blackout, the logo screen would show 'starting
windows' and a few other things before the login. Now, it usually goes
    directly to the login.
