I am trying to like my new Samsung PMC but the hard disk is just to dam small
    to be useful.

I have 30gb of music, several gbs of photos, and proably 50gb of recorded TV.

The problem is the Samsung ships with a 20gb hard disk.
Sure i could selectivly sync music and pictures and only add a few tv
programs but I dont want to do that. The reason I bought a portable player is
to take my content and be portable with it.

I hit upon the idea of replacing the hard disk so opended up the PMC hoping
that it would be a standard laptop drive, but it wasn't, it was much smaller.

Anyone had any luck replacing the disk on a Samsung YH-999 ? or know what
    type of disk it uses?

    Thanks

    I found the answer.

The Samsung uses a 1.8" hard disk. (my laptop had a 2.5" thats why the size
    was different)

The largest 1.8" drive on the market at the moment seems to be a 40gb, but
Toshiba have a 80gb model coming out soon.

I guess thats why the PMCs have such small hard disks.
