My pop blocker keeps allowing pop ups. The following conditions apply:

    High blocker set
    no allowed sites

scans with spybot s&d yield no spyware
scans with ms spyware yield no spyware
scans with sbc antispyware yield no spyware

yet the small icon at bottom of ie6 still comes on indicating pop-ups
allowed. Search kb with no results.

You post using WinXP SP2. Is this the machine with the problem?

When all else fails, HijackThis v1.99.1
(http://aumha.net/downloads/hijackthis.zip) is the preferred tool to use.
It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware. **Post
