    I use IE6 and XP, I get permission denied error. The eror is at
    var =popup.document.body.document.getElementById(id);. But it works fine
    with IE5. The error appears when I hoover over the menu of my web page. I
    have two different frames on the web page.The following is the surrounding
    code.

    for(var i=0;i<this.items.length;i++){
    var id=this.items.labelElement.id;
    var e=popup.document.body.document.getElementById(id);
    if(typeof e=="object"&&e!=null)
    this.items.labelElement=e;
    }

    What is causing this error. Is there a way around this.

    Hi Avi68,

    Do you have a web address we can have a look at. Your code snippet is
    unclear. In the mean time you may like to try either www.debugbar.com or
    www.iewatch.com and download either of these IE DOM inspectors and script
    debuggers.

    Regards.
