I have a domain controller giving me intermittent problems. It causes email to not be delivered to users' mailboxes. As soon as I restart the server, email is delivered and works fine for a period of a day to days. The domain controller has Windows 2003 SP1, DHCP, DNS, terminal server licenses server installed and is a global catalog. I've researched various event IDs and haven't found a fix. I was hoping that removing the DC from Active Directory will do the trick. I'm concerned about DHCP and the terminal server licensing services. Is there anything, besides backing up, that I need to do to these services before I remove AD from the server? Thanks.
