I currently have a W2K server as a domain controller. That is my only server
on the network. Today i added a W2K3 server as a member server. I then
tried to run dcpromo on the server and it woudn't take it because i needed to
run /forest prep & i think domain prep. Well i was looking for an article to
walk me through those steps and they all told me to run adprep on the schema
master. Well that would be my W2k server correct?? I did a search on the
server for adprep and couldn't find it. Am I missing something?? Can
someone list the steps needed to be ran prior to running DCpromo or point me
to an article on this?? I thought this was going to be an easy install but i
might be wrong. A one server network shouldn't be that hard to migrate to
    W2K3.
Thanks for you help in advance.
