printers not showing up in AD

    Hi guys,

    We just recently upgraded our DC from W2k server to SBS 2kK3. The problem
    we're having is the printers on two of our print servers do not show up in
    AD. Before the migration to SBS 2K3 all the printers showed up in AD.

    Are they network printers and have own internal network cards? ie jetdirect?

    If so you need to load up jetadmin or webadmin and add those printers to the
    queue again, I had the same problem last week after doing the same upgrade,
    mine was a hp5000 LJ

    Thanks for the response....We unlisted each printer (we have about 50 network
    printers all HP w/Jet Direct cards) and then relisted them.....they all show
    back up in the directory for the day, but the next day they all disappear
    from AD.
