Hi,\nI have a problem and I hope you can help me.\n\nSituation:\nServer1: Windows Server 2003 R2 SE\nServices running: Active Directory (single domain), DNS, DHCP (Subnet class:\n192.168.250.0/24)\n15 client Machine: No Operating System installed\n\nA distribution share "I386" is created in drive C: on Server1 that hosts the\nWindows XP Professional installation files. This folder has the full control\nEveryone share permissions and the Write NTFS permission assigned.\n\nGOAL:\nI would like to install Windows XP Professional SP2 on the 15 client\nmachine, without implementing the RIS service on Server1. In particular, I\nattempt to use a network boot client (through a floppy disk) that boot the\nclient machine and connect to the distribution share on Server1. But I have 2\nproblems:\n1) not enough memory\n2) problems when I try to use the net use command (an error not well defined)\n\nSo, I would like to know, first of all, if there is a method to boot a clean\nmachine with a network boot client (floppy), connect to a distribution share\non a server and run a unattend setup with the command "winnt.exe\n/u:unattend.txt /s:\\Server1\I386". Or if may I modify the netboot floppy.\nIf these procedures are present, please give me some informations.\nThank you very much.\nFr.
