Hi,

I have a new motherboard (ASUS K8N) with ATHLON64, XP SP2.

After having installed virtaul PC 2004 and his SP1, each I'm starting
Virtual PC with Windows 98 or XP, the MAC Address from the EThernet onboard
card was null. So I can't have good networking installation.

I have resolved the problem with the use of a DLIN DFE530TX PCI Card.

Is there a solution with the new K8N motherboard.

Thanks

I just have resolved my problem

In fact, the vmc file was not well created for both of them.

in the file we can found
<ethernet_adapter>
<controller_count type="integer">1</controller_count>
<ethernet_controller id="0">
<virtual_network>

</virtual_network>
<ethernet_card_address type="bytes">0003FF7CA08D</ethernet_card_address>
</ethernet_controller>
</ethernet_adapter>

the line with ethernet_card_address type wath missing.
This line was created when I had installed a second Ethernet card.
