    G'day Kym,
It's ZA's fault! Read thru this thread.
Mate, do yourself a favour and uninstall ZA, re-activate the WindowsXP
firewall and keep KB951748 on your system!

I have updates turned off automatically but it still reinstalls this sorry
Kb951748 every time I start my computer; it is a major pain in the butt to do
it everyday. I have to uninstall it, and then restart the computer. Anyone
know how to fix this sorry update?

  3. Bad idea. Sooner or later, if you don't have this update, your machine will be
    compromised.
Depends which third-party software product is messing with it; usually this is
security software such as anti-virus or firewall software. What do you have
    installed along these lines?

    Hi Marcello,
I have only 2 PCs (at home) on a wireless network. Each computer can still
access the Internet but now they can't share files or printers!
Just seen this thread and your post; I have tried to remove KB951748 but
one computer says that this update cannot be uninstalled!!!
Can you suggest any alternative fix?

    Thanks,
    Bill
