I'm using Windows Vista X64 ultimate, and the WMDC (Final version for X64)
and there's a pretty big problem with it in regards to the HTC TYTN (running
    Windows Mobile 5).

    1) It seems to detect the HTC TYTN as a Remote NDIS Device - nevertheless,
the Windows Mobile Device Center still doesn't see the device.

    2) As soon as I plug my TYTN, it seems to cause Vista X64 fits - basically,
if I try to do a "Scan for Hardware Changes" after plugging the device in -
the "Scanning for Plug and Play Devices" prompt never goes away, it seems to
be waiting for something to finish.

Control Panel -> Device Manager ->Right Click on Root Node (Machine Name) ->
    "Scan For Hardware Changes"

    3) If I do #2, my machine won't shutdown properly, as if the shutdown
process is waiting for something to finish, have to hit the reset button.

No problems at all with Windows XP and ActiveSync 4.2 (aside from not being
able to copy big media files with WMP11 which seems to be a common issue).
