Problem with WMIC

  1. Hi all

    I have an error using the wmic command line tool on a Windows 2003 Server Standard Edition with all applicable updates.

    C:\Documents and Settings\t-stevbe>wmic
    wmic:root\cli>process
    ERROR:
    Code = 0x8004100e
    Description = Invalid namespace
    Facility = WMI
    wmic:root\cli>

    I found somewhere that I have to check the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WBEM\Scripting" have the key "Default Namespace"
    set to "root\cimv2". I check and the value is OK.

    What can I do?

    Thanks,
    Steve Beaugé
