production systems, business critical systems

  1. I have been testing IE 7 and other betas. I can not believe people are
putting beta software on their business critical boxes. This is a beta test
and it is quite possible you will lose some or all functionality. Please read
the disclaimers before installing and save yourself some headaches. I am sure
your IT department should be consulted first and I know they will say you had
    better not install that.

One last note before I go back to my chair in the shadow. Beta software
could result in a total loss of all information on your drive and as such
gives you an opprtunity to rebuild your system (again).

Not all of them. I read it before I installed it and I understood what is
    involved with a beta.
