    Scenario:
Windows 2000 Active directory domain with 3 domain controller. All domain
controllers are running Windows 2000. There are a few member servers that are
running Windows server 2003 and Windows 2000 server. I am planning an upgrade
of the current active directory to Windows 2003 but I have problem of disk
space, and hardware requirement with existing Windows 2000 domain controllers.

    Question:
Will I be able to promote a member server running Windows server 2003 to a
domain controller in this Winodws 2000 active director domain?

This will really help. I have an exchange 2000 server on the network too,
which will be upgrade after active directory is complete. I found very useful
info in the article about Exchange 2000 and upgrading active directory to Win
    server 2003.
