    I have a problem,

during install of a PS/2 device we have discovered that any entries in the
    RunOnce (HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce) registry key
are executed before installation is finished.

These keys are from third party installers that may or may not have been run
before our driver install package is run. we have no control over these
    other products.

Our product is installed via INF installer using DPInst.exe to install the
    PS/2 hardware device.

How do we disable this feature during installation? If we put our installer
in batch mode, would this be enough to prevent the execution of the run once
    keys?

Are there any other options available?

    thanks in advance.

  2. note that this is a generic feature, not specific to a ps2 device. AFAIK,
no there is no way to surpress this
