Question on invitations, plus error message question

I tried to invite someone into a group conversation yesterday, and it
immediately bounced, with a message saying that the "Invitation could not be
    delivered"
Others in the group have had the same problem with this particular account.
I checked with her today, and she has not blocked any of us (and I believe
her). And we did have a one on one chat today.

Any idea what might have produced this kind of invitation decline, without
any knowledge on her part, on multiple occasions? We work as a design team
from different cities, bringing someone into a chat is often important, and
we'd like to figure this out.

And while I'm here, is there a reason why the Messenger Help Search can't
seem to find particular error messages? On more than one occasion, I've had
trouble connecting, and when I've gone through the troubleshooting guide, it
doesn't seem to recognize the error message number it is giving me. (For
example, today, I had Error 81000377 Contact list could not be accessed --
I couldn't find a thing on this. I tried flushing the DNS cache, and
eventually, I got in, but really -- why isn't there more info online?)

    Thanks for the insight!
