For those of you experiencing problems with TABBED BROWSING, there's a quick\nfix that should help you quickly find out what's going on with your browser.\nAs always, this is beta software, so expect erratic behaviour even after this\nfix that solved my problem.\n\nIssue: tabbed browsing results in closure of IE7. Any new tabs openned will\nclose the browser, and in some clients it will restart.\n\nFix: TOOLS > Internet Options > Advanced (tab) > under the ADVANCED section
\nUNCHECK "Enable third-party browser extensions*"
\n\nAdditional FIX: TOOLS > Internet Options > under GENERAL tab > TABS section
\nselect SETTINGS > CHECK "Open home page for new tabs instead of blank page".
\n\nSave all settings.\n\nThis will disable all non-IE browser extensions. This fix requires a\nrestart of IE, so go ahead and restart it, and try out opening new tabs.\nThis fixes a large amount of problems with tabbed browsing. Now if you\nabsolutely must have these toolbars, then I suggest sticking with IE6 or\nanother browser (Mozilla variants, etc). If you want to narrow down the\nproblem, you can re-enable browser plugins one by one to find the offending\nfile by going to TOOLS > Manage Add-ons > Enable or Disable Add-ons. Once\nyou find a problem-plugin(s), please post the offending dll's in this thread,\nas it will provide a quick resource for people to just disable the one plugin\nidentified in this thread. This also helps MS identify problems they need to\nwork with.
