Reassigning file locations in a playlist

I recently upgraded to a new Windows 7 computer and moved my whole music
folder to my new computer and set my music folder to be monitored by WMP12.
All of my previously made playlists are there, but the songs won't play
because WMA12 can't find the files because the playlist is still looking at
the old location even though WMP 12 is monitoring the correct folder with all
the files, and all the file names are still the same The folder structure is
identical to my previous computer so I can't understand why WMP12 can't find
them. Is there a place to change the playlist settings to help it relocate
the files. I have used WMP over the years and have seen similar problems
where the playlists seem to not be very intuitive. Any help you can provide
would be appreciative, as my playlists are huge and I would hate to have to
    recreate them.

    Thanks,

If WMP 12 has same properties as 11,go to tools, options, locate the "Rip
Music" tab,& performance tab, make sure youre media files are correctly
    set,chk other tabs as well.

As usual, Andrew's advice is pretty useless and can be safely ignored :p

Playlists are plain text files, so you can open them with Notepad or
your favorite text editor. There, you can perform a simple search and
replace operation, to replace all old file locations with their newer
    equivalents.
