rebuffering (among other error messages)

    I am trying to listen to some conference calls at yahoo finance and find my WMP 9.0 XP desktop constantly rebuffering. I opened up my laptop w/ 98Se WMP7.0 and there is on problem. Both are connected to the router thru 802.11 g so it does not appear to be a network problem. I tried downloading and reinstalling and that has not helped. any ideas?
