recovered items folder

    i know this has been discussed before but i don't remember ever seeing a
    valid answer as to why the recovered folder exists.
    i'm not convinced it only gets created when there has been an unexpected
    interruption of wlm. it seems to me more intuitive to have it done under the
    hood if indeed that is the reason for its creation.

    i have yet to find any setting to just say that if it needs to create the
    header twice, in two seperate folders,(and yes it always has a copy in
    stored, recovered, and in the original destined folder) to just delete the
    damn thing. why do i have to continuously delete my recovered folder?

    Don't delete the Recovered items folder.
    Once one determines the contents of the date folder, its subfolder, and any messages **are no longer needed**, then delete the date
    folder. Deletion will place it in the Storage folders Deleted items folder, then empty the Deleted items folder.
