    I just got the request to install SNMP on several hundred of our servers. Is
    there a way to do this automatically?
    The servers are W2k or W2k3

  2. Hi Tom,

    Have you attempted this?:

    First, you need an answer file containing

    [NetOptionalComponents]
    SNMP=1

    Then run

    sysocmgr /i:%windir%\inf\sysoc.inf /u:path to answer file

    This should work, providing your installation sources are available.

    You could run it vis Startup script using a GPO or maybe script it with
    PSEXEC.
