Had a server in a clustered environment. In this environment, it was the
catalog server, and primary server in the cluster. The machine crashed and I
can't log into the other server when running the ntsutil, after upgrading to
the catalog server on existing machine in cluster. I am running the ntsutil
so that I can remove all instances of the crashed server from AD. I have
tried to connect by using the domain, user account, password and by username,
password. I get an error code 5, access denied. Any help on why this is
    would be appreciated.

I'm pretty sure. I followed this article last time. Also, to make it more
interesting, it's pre-service packs because of software running on it. They
tried to install SP1, and it broke the software on it previously.

All of this is SP1 directions... do they have anything that you know of that
    pre-dates SP1, just plain ole W2k3 advanced server? I haven't seen anything
    as of yet.

Not true you also have for Windows 2003 whithout SP1. Did you already remove
    that server from the cluster.
