Removed gmail account but still getting emails on it?

    Okay so i removed my gmail account from my windows mail that i use for my
    Yahoo email account but for some reason I don't know why my gmail mail like
    facebook emails and such is STILL going into my windows mail under.
    Which i cant access when I don't have my laptop on me.

    Can anybody help me?

  2. In Windows Mail, go to Tools, Accounts, and make sure there is no
    Gmail account. Sometimes there are duplicate accounts.

    If the account is still set up in Windows mail, you could ensure the option
    to "Leave a copy of messages on the server" is enabled on the account's
    Properties - Advanced tab. Then, you can still get them when you are
    without your laptop.

    I deleted the gmail account from windows mail. but its still coming thru. i
    duno what the deal is with it :( and they come thru on my yahoo email account
    when it isnt even a registered email for facebook. i prefer to use gmail
    thats why im trying to get rid of it off windows mail but having all this
    trouble from my 'phantom gmail account' lol.

    Look through your WM accounts again - each one individually. Look at their
    Properties and look at the mail servers (Servers tab) to see if you have
    inadvertently used the gmail servers on the yahoo account or visa-versa.
    That is the only other thing I can think of that would be bringing in the
    messages under the "wrong" account. As far as what you have setup on FB we
    obviously can't help you with that here. Look through your FB profile to
    ensure that email address is not in there anywhere, contact FB "Help" for
    further issues with that.
