I have yet another question for the group.

In OE the only way for me to re-send an email (which I presume the recipient
did not receive) is to go to the 'sent' folder, highlight the appropriate
message and click 'forward.' Then, in the compose window, I delete the
forwarding information ("original message from , etc. and

With WLMD I was hoping there would be a "resend" feature, or an "edit as
new" function (which would at least eliminate the 'original message'
information--though resending would be less cumbersome). It seems there is
    not one.

Is this type of feature not in the works for this software, or is it planned
for it but simply not a part of the present beta version ? (I would think
it is a useful function to have, so it's strange that it isn't in this

    Thanks !

There is a feature that can be selected when replying, which may work for you.
    Tools (menu)
    Options... (dropdown)
    Send (Tab)
    Sending (Section Heading)
    Include message in Reply (Checkbox)

Of course this would affect all of your replies so you may not want to use
this option. Additionally, if you really desired it to look like you
forwarded the email, instead of replying to it, you would have to change the
RE to FW in the subject line.

Anyway, I thought I would throw that out there in case it fits your needs.

    Hi, AltNrg4U

Thank you for the response !

But I think you might have misunderstood my question (or I didn't express
    myself well).

It doesn't really matter whether it's an email I compose, reply to, or
forward. My concern is that once an email has been sent and I determine
that it has not, in fact, been received, I may wish to re-send the exact
    same email.

Incredimail (which I only used briefly a year ago) had/has the interesting
function of being able to re-send an email that had already been sent
earlier, though one had to open it and edit it as a new composition before

I don't think WLMD has this function--yet. (Therefore, I am guessing at the
    answer to my initial question.)

But it would be great if it had two functions:

    1. "Edit as New"--where a sent email can be opened and treated as a new
email still in composition. (No forwarding information attached.)

    2. "Re-send"--where a sent email can be moved immediately to the outbox for
re-sending. Since it had presumably already been spell-checked prior to the
initial sending no further editing would be necessary. If it is, "Edit as
    New" could be selected.

    Thanks !
