Revert to RC1 5600 from 5728

Discussion in 'Windows Vista Installation' started by Hannes Helander, Sep 27, 2006.

  1. Hi,

Does anyone know if it is possible to go back to RC1 build 5600 from 5728. I
am having quite a few problems with 5728 so prefer using the older build.
However I would prefernot having to make a clean reinstall.

    Any tips or advise welcome!

  3. You cannot revert from a Vista install to any prior operating system if you
did an upgrade. You'll have to format and reinstall the RC1 build.

  5. Not that I've seen - you must have a failed or partially-completed install
    hanging about.
