I desperately need to right click text on a Web Page so that I can copy it
and paste it into an online translator to get an idea of what is being

But the site doessn't allow right clicks followed by copy/paste.

Instead, their own menu comes up with lots of hyperlinks.

Is there any way of getting around this problem?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Dave,

Select the text in the page you want to copy, Ctrl+Ins or the Edit>Copy menu
    in IE.

what page is it? There are some different techniques to prohibit
right-click, so can we have a look at the page?

  5. Hi,

Often JavaScript is used on a site to turn off your ability to use the
right-click context menu. If this is the case your scenario, you try to
turn it back on by pasting the following into the Address Bar and clicking
    on Go:

If you are getting a dialog box when you right-click on the page, you might
try the following sequence of events to thwart the dialog box and get your
    context menu:

    1. Hold the right mouse button down,
    2. Hit Enter to close the dialog box,
    3. Now release the right mouse button.

    Good luck,
