When a roaming profile is set up for a domain user, does the applications
and the settings for those applications get set up in the profile? For
instance, if someone was using Outlook or Outlook Express, would the
application and the mail settings be stored in the profile? I know the
application (Outlook or Outlook Express) has to be available on the
workstation but would the user settings (mail settings) follow the user

  2. Yes, they would.

  3. They should. One concern, though about roaming profiles is the size of
the profiles. The larger they get, the longer it takes to boot and the
likelihood of profile corruption increases. You can exclude directories
    via Group Policy.
