  1. Hi,
I am having 'Compaq iPAQ 3835' with Windows CE & MS Premium Outlook 2002. I
am having an USB Cradle & Expantion pack.

I was trying to upgrading its ROM from 1.15 to 1.20 & got some communication
'Error: 113' on 98% now its not even restarting nor chanrging its battery.
Every time i try to follow the process of upgradiung the ROM it gives me
same error on some around 95%-98% & askes me to remove the charger & reboot
it. I have an expansion pack but don't have extra battery. Can you please
suggest how i can get into my IPAQ & upgrade its ROM? Which software i may
ned for this? I was using to upgrade its

Now I have formatted my PC & using 2000 Advance server with SP 4 (having
same OS as i had earlier). My partnership is also gone & even after I
managed to boot & came to the RED Screen of "Remote USB Update" I not able
to connect & getting Error: 101.

Now I am all stuck in between & nothing is wokring

Please check the attachment with this post.

  2. Hi,
I suggest you call HP regarding the rom upgrade. They are the best equipped
to help you with why it is stalling at 98%. The only thing I can think of
is to remove the expansion pack and perform a hard reset before installing
    the rom upgrade.

As for ActiveSync, you are using an unsupported platform to sync with.
Microsoft does not support using a server to sync with ActiveSync.
