I have a remote user who wanted to change her password today before it
expires in 3 days. She got a message : Netware Network

You may need to change your password separately on NetWare 2.X and 3.x
servers that are not part of a paswword sychronization scheme. Use SetPass
(located in Sys/Public directory on Netware servers) to do this.

After this was shown it was unable to change her password. I am running one
server w/SBS2003 - that's it. Any ideas why she got this message and why her
    password would not change?

    thanks!

Tell her to uninstall the Netware Client.

She is using Remote Web Workplace to logon to a PC at our office. The PC is
running Windows XP. No netware client .

Has that PC ever had a Netware client installed? This message is definitely
coming from a Netware component. Has the user installed a Netware client?

Not that I know of. The office PC was rebuilt about 6 months ago after a
virus. I wiped it clean and re-installed XP. Unless someone else put
something on it. How would I check?

Have a look at the properties of the network connection and see if there is
    any Netware items.

Sure enough, the netware client was installed. I removed it and all is well.
    Thanks for the help.
