    Hi,
I am running SBS 2003. Have Intel board with dual NIC's. Also setting up
Linksys Business Class RSV4000 Router. I would like to configure it using
only one NIC on the server.
Which NIC, Network or Local Connection would I use?
I have cable modem plugged into the Internet port on the router.
I will plug the NIC from the server to the Ethernet Port on the router.
Not sure which NIC to use.
    Thanks

Thestarting IP for the router is default 192.168.1.1 Would I use 1.2 for the
    local NIC?
The router is configured with the static IP from the ISP
    Thanks

Thank you for your posts, you read my mind on the DHCP.. was my next question.
I am going to try the configuration now. I have the router set with the
ports for SBS services. I will post with results.

I configured the NIC as described in a Microsoft article on running SBS with
one NIC. I had to delete the 192.168.16.2 DHCP scope and add 192.168.1.1 -
192.168.1.254 with a few exclusions. The Internet connection wizard ran
successfully. I booted a member pc and it was assigned a 1.5 IP address. I am
able to view the networked pc's and connect to the server. I cannot go to the
Internet from server or pc'c. I have checked that automatically check is
    checked in IE.
