I have a SBS 2K8 server that has been up and running for about 5 years. I use the POP3 Connector to download mail into Exchange which has been working fine since installation. As of today inbound delivery has been unsuccessful. I have checked the event log and discovered the following :-

"An error occurred while delivering mail to '[email protected]' on the SMTP server 'localhost'. The error code was 0x800ccc6c. Verify that the mailbox exists and that the Exchange receive connectors are configured properly."

I have double checked that I have the domain correctly configured and it is.

The receive Connectors look fine and the mailboxes do exist.

    Outbound mail is fine.

I receive mail for multiple domains on this server and have the same error for e-mail addresses from all domains.

Nothing has changed on this server and we were receiving mail OK til 12.45 today.

    Any ideas anyone?
