I'm currently seeing an issue at one of my clients where, where examining
the SBS Usage Report, the outging email quantities are incorrect.

Generally I notice that the report is about a day behind, so will not show
the quantities of 'today' for instance, but when reviewing past days there
is a strange discrepancies to what is actually being shown in the user's
mailbox itself, for instance the report shows 5 emails sent but the mailbox
physically shows 11 sent. There is no set pattern to this....

Has anyone any ideas, has anyone seen this before?

    Regards,

  2. Outlook shows all mail sent. SBS "outgoing" mail only counts messages that
leave the building (ie with external recipients).

There was also an issue with incorrect counts and the POP3 Connector early
on in the SBS2003 lifecycle, but I'm reasonably sure that got patched.
