Scipting for user's membership (memberof)

  1. That website was very useful thank you. However, I still
have one more problem. There are two domains which is
exist each with their own active directory (i believe in
two seperate forests, not sure if that makes a difference
or not) There are several accounts that are added into
the administration group, who's account exists in the
other domain (shows up in the AD Users / Computer browser
with a red arrow, which signifies the account is not part
of the current domain) When I query members of a
particular group, the only information I seem able to get
at is the actual sid for that user. (The S-XXX-XX-XXXXX-
XXX or whatever the format is)

How can i resolve this sid so that I can get to the actual
object and be able to read from it the common name,
telephone # and other attributes as if it were a local
    account?

    Again, my thanks.
