I have windows vista premium home edition 64 bit. I installed a screen
saver which by all rights should not have worked, but it does. It was
installed in the "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\" folder. In this location it does
not show up in the drop down list with the other screensavers. So after
looking where the other screensavers are located I put a copy in
"C:\Windows\System32\". Now it shows up in the list and can be selected.
I decided to search for other screensavers to see if I have any that I
missed, aside from finding Tossps.scr in "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\", I
discovered that the vista screensavers are located in four different
    places.
    "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\"
    "C:\Windows\System32\"
    "C:\Windows\winsxs\amd64_microsoft-windows-bubbles_31bf3856ad364e35_6.0.6001.18000_none_ca9ce1bf824f12b3\"
    "C:\Windows\winsxs\x86_microsoft-windows-bubbles_31bf3856ad364e35_6.0.6001.18000_none_6e7e463bc9f1a17d\"

I would like to know why they are present in four locations and which are
important and if I can delete any of them.

    Many thanks.
