Script to open a webspace based on users

    I would really appreciate if anyone could help me. I
    work at a computer lab and i need to create a script
    or .bat file that will create a link to the universities
    webspace. The only problem is the link is dependant upon
    the users name and that can be found from when they log
    in. I don't know how to put all this information into
    one script. thankyou for any help you can give me.

    You've got to at least know what sort of share you're connecting, how to
    connect, and the username of the logged-in user. Look for script samples on
    how to create shortcuts and how to access the special folders (for the
    desktop link).
