    Hi,

I have to set up a new webserver and have also the old 32-bit
    servercomponents.
Modifying the IIS-MetaBase made it possible to use these comp. with asp
    scripts etc.

BUT: when i write the same asp code (modified to vbs) in a VBS file and run
it from the console I get the error
    "ActiveX component can't create object".

There are a lot of scheduled tasks I have to set up for the machine with
these 3rd party components, zipping logfiles, sending sms about the state of
    the server.... and so on...

So in case it is NOT possible to use the components with x64 systems I will
    have a big problem.

    To install them in
    C:\Program Files (x86)\components and in
    C:\WINDOWS\SysWOW64\inetsrv\components
    was not the solution

    The err. comes up again;)

Would be very glad to get some help from you.

    Best Regards

    Nick
